moistening and lubricating the oral cavity."
Frank's Comments: This is one
of the first products I started using after my radiation treatments were
completed. I guess the fact that it was supposed to be a "substitute"
for saliva and was kept behind the pharmacy counter gave it some extra
credibility with me. It certainly moistens your mouth, almost giving it
a slippery feel, and the taste isn't bad - though it can taste kind of
"chemically" at times. But, I don't see what would qualify this product
as a "saliva substitute" any more than any other dry mouth product. It
may be worth a try for you, but I seldom use what little I have left.
